![]() ![]() It would be great to be able to do this natively in a single app. It's a bit of work, and I'll admit I was looking for this in Dimension. Using some solids around the surfaces that bounce light, you could then bounce the light off of them and see some of it's bounce character. However, did you realize that you can create some of those effects in After Effects? You can place objects and flow the lighting together with the scene, and export to a format for use with After Effects, then create an invisible solid that emits light with a definitive angle (you might need several for a single light lamp, Ziv), which would give you the ability to show how that light would fill its initial beams. For those of you attempting to use Dimension for testing lighting objects, It sounds like it would be amazing when it's built in.
